Nicolas is participating to the task force who developped the TTT V6 and is now working on the new LDI program
Objective:
This one-hour introduction session ensures that all participants are fully prepared for the upcoming Applied Instructor Skills (AIS) online training. It will cover key learning objectives, review the practice schedule, and confirm that all participants meet the technical and logistical requirements needed for their 15-minute practice training sessions in future AIS sessions.
Agenda (1 Hour)
1. Welcome & Introduction (10 min)
- Overview of the AIS Training Program
- Importance of applied instructional skills for effective learning delivery
- Expectations for participant engagement and interaction
2. Learning Objectives Review (15 min)
- Walkthrough of the AIS class learning objectives (aligned with ASCM’s guidelines)
- Key competencies covered in the training
- The role of practice training in reinforcing instructional effectiveness
3. Training Schedule & Practice Assignments (15 min)
- Overview of AIS session structure and schedule
- Explanation of 15-minute practice training sessions
- Individual assignments and preparation timeline
- Expectations for peer feedback and trainer evaluation
4. Logistics & Technical Confirmation (15 min)
- Connectivity check: Ensuring stable internet, microphone, and camera functionality
- Platform walkthrough: How to access and navigate the online training tools
- Validation requirements:
- Minimum attendance of 80%
- Active participation in discussions and practice sessions
- Completion of assigned practice training
